Rooms will surprise you. Remodeled updated and very friendly group of people. The rooms are affordable fair, and the people there go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We had some BBQ and sat around a fire pit making smores with a few beverages while a guitar and harmonica came out played and sang. I'd say that's the place to go to unwind from a long day of traveling.
First, thank you to Carl and Morna for great hospitality. The owner, Chad is awesome. There is a fire pit area and we were hanging out and he came and visited with us. It was like hanging out with neighbors. The rooms are by no means 5 stars but they are clean and functional. The property is very old and it may put some off. All in all it was a good place to stay and I would stay again.
We had to check in at 2am unexpectedly on a road trip from Nevada to Missouri. The lady who greeted me and checked us in was very kind. This was the only place within miles that had vacancy. The rooms seem a little outdated and it took a really long time for the AC to cool down the room but once we settled in we slept great. We also had an infant with us so the quick check in and out was great. We had trouble getting the cable tv to work but it just needed a little reset. The towels were nice and the water was hot . I can tell the place is on its way up.
While relocating jobs, I stayed here for over a month. The management is spectacular, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and take care of all of your needs. The rooms although old, are under renovation, and they really take pride in improving each room. The bathrooms and sheets are clean, the beds are comfortable and it's a quiet place to stay. I would stay here anytime.
My husband and I lived in Mountain View Wy for several years, we moved away about 3 years ago, and I must admit I would have never stayed here or recommend this motel to anyone. But we we’re recently traveling through Wyoming and we had heard that the motel had new owners and we’re really working hard making upgrades to the motel and property, so we decided to check it out. I must say we definitely weren’t disappointed, our room was very clean and tidy, and smelled great. The tv and service were amazing! The owners were so kind, and so helpful, they are really doing a good job at trying to renovate this property. I’d definitely stay here again as long as they are the owners. Anyone looking for a motel at a great price, don’t let the fact it’s an older motel fool you, the owners are doing a great job at fixing it up, and like I said it’s very clean. I’d definitely stay again! The Johnson’s.
